Information about e-book providers
• Knovel
The TU Delft Library has a collection of e-books supplied by the provider NetLibrary. If you create a free account, you can also make and save notes. The facilities also include an integrated dictionary: double click on a word to open the corresponding definition.
NetLibrary also contains more than 3000 free e-books. These e-books are available through any computer with Internet access.
An e-book can be viewed by only one person at a time. If an e-book is in use by someone else you may choose to be notified by email when a copy of the title becomes available for viewing. You may save or print one page at a time. Because of copyright laws there are restrictions to the amount of pages that you can save or print. Also see the NetLibrary FAQs .

The Springer collection of the TU Delft Library can be accessed through www.springerlink.com. You have access to all books with a green icon. The book may be viewed by an unlimited number of users at any one time. Also see the SpringerLink FAQs.
In 2006 the TU Delft Library purchased over 2000 e-books from Springer. Since the start of 2007 the TU Delft Library is no longer buying paper books from Springer. The Springer e-books are supplied in packages by subject.

Through the TU Delft Library you have access to selected Subject Area Collections of e-books and electronic reference works from Knovel Interactive Library.
On one interface the Knovel Library combines authoritative reference content from major Sci-tech publishers enhanced with analytical tools to help analyze and manipulate the data.
You can sort, filter and export data from 'live tables', resolve equations and plot graphs, capture values from existing graphs and perform 'what if' experiments on the data.

CRC E-books
Through the TU Delft Library you have access to a large number of E-books and online reference works from CRC Press, including the collections for the subject fields Engineering, Materials, Physics and Industry:

Informatie over aanbieders van e-books

NetLibrary
De TU Delft Library heeft een collectie e-books via de aanbieder NetLibrary. Indien u een gratis account aanmaakt, kunt u ook aantekeningen maken en opslaan. Verder is er een geïntegreerd woordenboek: dubbelklikken op een woord opent de bijbehorende verklaring.
NetLibrary bevat tevens meer dan 3000 gratis e-books. Deze e-books zijn beschikbaar vanaf iedere computer die toegang heeft tot Internet.
Een e-book uit de collectie van NetLibrary kan slechts door één persoon tegelijk worden bekeken. Wanneer een e-book door iemand anders geraadpleegd wordt, kunt u kiezen voor de optie om een e-mail te ontvangen zodra het boek weer beschikbaar is. U kunt één pagina tegelijkertijd printen of opslaan. In verband met copyright zijn er beperkingen met betrekking tot het totale aantal pagina's dat u kunt printen of opslaan per e-book. SpringerLink
De Springer collectie van onze Bibliotheek is toegankelijk via www.springerlink.com. U hebt toegang tot alle boeken met een groen icoon. Het boek mag onbeperkt door meerdere gebruikers tegelijk worden bekeken. Zie ook de FAQ van Springerlink.
In 2006 heeft de TU Delft Library ruim 2000 e-books van Springer aangekocht. Vanaf begin 2007 koopt de TU Delft Library geen papieren boeken meer van Springer.

Knovel
Via de TU Delft Library hebt u toegang tot enkele pakketten e-books en naslagwerken van Knovel Interactive Library
Op de interface van Knovel Interactive Library vindt u publicaties van grote wetenschappelijke uitgevers, “verrijkt” met tools voor het verwerken en het analyseren van gegevens. U kunt de gegevens sorteren, filteren en exporteren vanuit “levende tabellen”, vergelijkingen oplossen en grafieken genereren. Met gegevens uit bestaande grafieken kunt u eigen “wat als” experimenten uitvoeren.

In verband met de voorlopig tijdelijke toegang zijn de individuele titels uit de Knovel collectie nog niet opgenomen in de bibliotheekcatalogus. Momenteel is deze collectie alleen afzoekbaar via de Knovel website (en via Google).
