Current Research
The Dutch Research Database (NOD) is a publicly available online database with information on scientific research, researchers and research institutes. The NOD covers all scientific disciplines (multidisciplinary). Every month over 12,000 searches are done in the NOD files.
Aim of the Dutch research database (NOD)
- To provide access to and open up Dutch publicly funded research for scientists, policy makers, industry, media, scientific publishers, information services and the wider public, on a national, European and global scale.
- To make the knowledge and expertise of researchers and research institutes available and retrievable for the above-mentioned user groups on a national, European and global scale ("shop-window" for scientific research).

Lopend Onderzoek
De Nederlandse Onderzoek Databank (NOD) is een openbare online databank met informatie over wetenschappelijk onderzoek, onderzoekers en onderzoekinstituten. De NOD bestrijkt alle wetenschappelijke disciplines (multidisciplinair). Per maand worden meer dan 12.000 zoekopdrachten uitgevoerd binnen de bestanden van de NOD.
Doel van de NOD
- Toegankelijk en zichtbaar maken van Nederlands publiek gefinancierd onderzoek voor doelgroepen als wetenschappers, beleidsfunctionarissen, bedrijfsleven, media, wetenschappelijke uitgeverijen, informatiediensten en het brede publiek op nationale, Europese en mondiale schaal.
- Zichtbaar en vindbaar maken van kennis van onderzoekers (experts) en onderzoeksinstituten voor bovengenoemde doelgroepen op nationale, Europese en mondiale schaal (etalage voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek).
