Importfilters en connection files voor EndNote

Connection file TU Delft

Met behulp van connection files kunt u vanuit EndNote direct zoeken in databases en bibliotheekcatalogi. Door de connection file van de TU Delft te installeren kunt u vanuit EndNote rechtstreeks in de catalogus van de TU Delft Library zoeken.

Installeren
Om de TU Delft connection file te installeren:

• slaat u onderstaand bestand op in de Connections folder in de EndNote folder op uw PC. De locatie van deze folder is standaard:
C:\Program Files\EndNote (versie)\Connections

• Start vervolgens EndNote opnieuw op

• Ga via het menu naar Tools -> Connect.

• Selecteer de TU Delft connection file

Importfilters en direct export

Voor een aantal bibliografische databases is het mogelijk om via een “direct export”-optie, referenties rechtstreeks naar EndNote te exporteren. Zoek in de database naar opties zoals “Export to EndNote” of “Export to Reference Software”.

Voor het importeren van referenties vanuit de overige bibliografische databases is het belangrijk dat u het juiste importfilter selecteert. Met EndNote wordt standaard een groot aantal filters meegeleverd. Maar niet voor alle bibliografische databases die door de TU Delft Library worden aangeboden, is een standaardfilter beschikbaar. In onderstaande tabel vindt u aanvullende filters, die u zelf in EndNote kunt installeren. Ook wordt aangegeven of de betreffende database de “direct export” mogelijkheid aanbiedt. Indien dit het geval is hoeft u geen importfilter te installeren.

Om de filters te installeren:

• slaat u de bestanden op in de Filters folder in de EndNote folder op uw PC
standaard is de locatie van deze folder:
C:\Program Files\EndNote (versie)\Filters

• start daarna EndNote opnieuw op
