Endnote
Easily manage literature references and cite while you writeEndNote is a software program for storing and managing literature references. EndNote is available for Windows and Macintosh. Cite while you write! EndNote enables you to include references in your text as you write your article in Microsoft Word. You can import references from various bibliographic databases into EndNote. Next, you can include citations directly in your text. You can select the specific layout that is used by the publication for which your article is intended. A bibliography is automatically generated at the end of the document. Obtaining EndNote softwareEmployees and students of the TU Delft can download the EndNote software from the Blackboard software distribution server. The EndNote software can also be obtained for a small fee through TU Delft SSC-ICT Purchase, Sales, Supplies through a campus license. EndNote is available for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS-X. EndNote workshopSeveral times a year the TU Delft Library organizes the EndNote workshop for researchers of the TU Delft. In this workshop you will learn about the software's functionality and get familiar with it by hands-on training. “Working with EndNote” in TUlibIn the module “Working with EndNote” in TUlib, the TU Delft Library’s instruction tool, you find information on how to manage an EndNote library, how to use EndNote in Microsoft Word and how to import references into your EndNote library from different information resources. Import filters and connection filesIn order to import references from bibliographic databases and library catalogues into EndNote you need to use import filters and connection files. Specific import filters and connection files have been developed for databases that are available through the TU Delft Library and for the library catalogue. Gemakkelijk literatuurrefenties beheren en Cite while you writeEndNote is een softwarepakket dat u helpt om literatuurreferenties op te slaan en te beheren. EndNote is beschikbaar voor Windows en Macintosh. Cite while you write! Met EndNote kunt u tijdens het schrijven van een artikel in Microsoft Word op eenvoudige wijze referenties in uw tekst opnemen. U kunt referenties vanuit diverse bibliografische bestanden in EndNote importeren. Vervolgens kunt u eenvoudig in uw tekst verwijzingen naar referenties opnemen. Hierbij kunt u de opmaakstijl selecteren die is voorgeschreven door het tijdschrift waarvoor uw artikel bestemd is. Aan het einde van het document wordt automatisch een literatuurlijst van gebruikte referenties gegenereerd. EndNote software verkrijgenMedewerkers en studenten van de TU Delft kunnen de EndNote software downloaden van de Blackboard software distribution server. Het pakket EndNote is ook tegen een geringe vergoeding via de Inkoop, Verkoop en Levering van het SSC ICT van de TU Delft te verkrijgen voor Microsoft Windows of Mac OS-X via een campuslicentie. Workshop EndNoteDe TU Delft Library organiseert een aantal keer per jaar de workshop Endnote voor onderzoekers van de TU Delft. In deze workshop wordt u bekend gemaakt met de functionaliteit van het pakket en gaat u er zelf mee aan de slag. “Working with EndNote” in TUlibIn de module “Working with EndNote” in TUlib, de instructietool van de TU Delft Library, vindt u informatie over het beheren van een EndNote library, het gebruiken van EndNote in Microsoft Word en het importeren van referenties vanuit verschillende informatiebronnen. Importfilters en connection filesOm referenties in EndNote te importeren moet u soms gebruik maken van importfilters en connection files. Voor de bibliografische databases die door de TU Delft Library worden aangeboden en voor de bibliotheekcatalogus zijn speciale importfilters en connection files ontwikkeld.
